Chike Edmund Nwasike President & CEO
Mr. Nwasike has been Chief Executive Officer, Chief Technology Officer and Chairman of the company since its inception. Mr. Nwasike is an engineering graduate of UCLA. He was first employed as an Operations Engineer for Mobil Oil Corporation and then spent the next 20 years in the development of complex large scale enterprise software systems. Mr. Nwasike founded his first company in 1985 specializing in integrated banking systems. He created the Proview system, which was licensed to large money center and regional banks and participated in more than 17 major bank mergers and consolidations where he created software for bank conversions, integrated customer information and profitability analysis. As a consultant to IBM in Mexico City, he created linguistically based software routines for customer identification. His company went on to consult for Microsoft and created a nationwide customer service management system for Disney Interactive.
Some of Mr. Nwasike’s previous clients include companies such as IBM, Comerica, US Bancorp, Wells Fargo Bank, Bank of America, Washington Mutual, Glendale Federal, First Bank of Chicago, Multibanco Comermex--Mexico, Union Bank, Harris Bank & Thrift, Thrifty Corporation, Microsoft, Key Bank Albany, M & T Bank Buffalo, Blue Cross of Southern California, Disney Corporation and Southern California Edison, among others. Mr. Nwasike has also been a publisher and founded and managed an offshore network management services company. Mr. Nwasike is a trustee of the Hillsyke Foundation, an organization that supports African widows and orphans. He is the Technology Director of an international Chamber of Commerce and an adviser to several Governments and municipalities on eGovernment and workflow automation. Mr. Nwasike served as an Adjunct Professor of Electronic Commerce at La Sierra University School of Business and Management. Chike founded Novantus in 1999 with the specific purpose of creating new and innovative ways of developing and implementing complex software systems at low cost and low risk to clients. He has led Novantus to a worldwide company with presence now in 3 continents and a rapidly expanding client base.
Robert Reichmann VP, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Reichmann is Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Novantus Corporation. He has been with Mr. Nwasike since the founding of the company. In addition to his role of managing operations of the company, he is responsible for new business development, management of existing clients, and product planning.
His previous experience as a communications consultant with Hewitt Associates, world-wide benefits and compensation consulting firm in Lincolnshire, Illinois exemplifies his abilities in solution development throughout a wide range of industries. At Hewitt his assignments included Arthur Anderson, Ford Motor Company, Shell Oil, Miller Brewing and others. He was one of the original 18 consultants assigned to help open Hewitt’s Southwest Regional Center in The Woodlands, Texas, where he was responsible for all media production. Because of his unique talents, he was often assigned to manage projects at other regional centers, as well. These projects included BellSouth, Burlington Northern, Coca-Cola, Enron, Ford Motor Company, Halliburton, Hughes Tool Company, Shell Oil Company, Southwest Airlines and others.
Mr. Reichmann began his career as a Sales Training Specialist. He was then named National Sales Training manager at Zenith Electronics Corporation in Glenview, Illinois. His department was responsible for creating and communicating product information and training Zenith’s distributor sales organization and over 20,000 retail sales associates. He then became Zenith's Director of Marketing - Audio Products. He was responsible for all aspects of product management, which included product planning and pricing, collateral materials, creating sales targets and the management of a field sales force of 23 regional sales managers.
He majored in Mechanical Engineering and Communication Arts at the University of Wisconsin – Madison and served with the United States Navy in Vietnam.
Kalyana Kumar Mohan Vice President of Technology
Kalyana Kumar joined Novantus in January 2002 and is responsible for the overall design, development and implementation of Novantus's products and solutions. He has more than 12 years experience in software engineering. Prior to Novantus Corporation, Kalyan worked as a software Engineer for Sagemetrics Corp in design, development and implementation of SageMetrics's suite of business intelligence and high-end data mining products and solutions. He also worked in developing and implementing web, client-server and data warehousing applications for companies like Neotech Systems Inc, www.healthshop.com, www.io2io.com (Malaysiya), Logic Version Technologies etc. Kalyan holds a Bachelors of Engineering degree from the Madurai Kamaraj University, India. Kalyan is Managing Director of Novantus India.
E. Kenneth Nwabueze Director
Kenneth Nwabueze was elected as a director of the company in November 2001. Kenneth founded SageMetrics in 1997 and is responsible for overall company direction and growth. Kenneth has deep domain expertise in the business intelligence industry as a result of years of building data warehousing and data mining systems for enterprise customers such as Disney Interactive, NBC and Buena Vista Pictures and Television. Prior to founding SageMetrics, Kenneth built technology systems for Lawrence Berkeley Labs and The Walt Disney Company. He also has a demonstrated reputation as a developer and entrepreneur of innovative technologies across various high-tech industries. In 2001, President George W. Bush appointed him to serve on the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology, along with Michael Dell, Chairman and CEO of Dell Computer Corp., Gordon Moore, Chairman Emeritus of Intel Corp., Norman Augustine, retired chairman of Lockheed Martin Corp., and Charles Vest, President, Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and other industry luminaries. Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the School of Engineering and Computer Science at California State University, Northridge
Paul S Kosacz Director
Paul has been a director of the company since June 14, 2000. He is also president and a director of Lexington. Mr. Kosacz began his professional career in New York in September 1976 as an associate with the law firm of Kelley Drye & Warren, where he specialized in securities law, mergers and acquisitions, banking and international finance. From June 1984 until May 1987, he headed the corporate department at the Washington, D.C. law firm of Fleischman and Walsh, P.C., telecommunications specialists, and handled a wide variety of transactional work for the firm’s cable television and wireless telephony clients, including acquisitions, private placements and public offerings. From June 1987 until August 1989, he consulted with several private placement investment syndicators in Los Angeles, assisting them with transactional work and in preparing offering materials in connection with their funding efforts. From November 1988 to February 1990, Mr. Kosacz also served as the head of business affairs and a member of the board of directors of The Robert Evans Company, an independent motion picture production company headquartered in Beverly Hills, California. Beginning in 1990, Mr. Kosacz began consulting independently with persons interested in raising capital for start-up ventures, especially in the telecommunications, media and information technology arenas, advising them on transaction structure, the preparation of offering materials and potential sources of capital. He also has invested for his own account in several start-up companies, mainly in the telecommunications and information technology fields. Mr. Kosacz received a B.A. degree from Yale University in History, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, Magna cum Laude with honors, and a J.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Law. He is a member in good standing of the New York, California and District of Columbia bars.
John Thomas Director
Professor John Thomas has been a Director of the Company since August 2002. Dr Thomas is Dean of the School of Business and Management (SBM) of La Sierra University in Riverside, California and principal of Thomas and Associates, a consulting company. Dr. Thomas received the SBM Advisor of the Year award in 1992, 1993 and 1994, the National Academic Advising Association's (NACADA) award for advising in 1993, and the School of Business and Management's Best Teacher Award in 1994. He was also presented with the Zapara Award for Excellence in Teaching in 1996. In 1991, Dr. Thomas founded the La Sierra University chapter of Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE), and has served as its faculty sponsor since that time. Based on the service and educational programs it provides, the La Sierra University SIFE chapter won the SIFE International Championship in 1994, 1995, 1996, and 1997.
In 1998, Dr. Thomas was awarded the prestigious Leavey Award for Excellence in Private Enterprise Education from the Freedoms Foundation at Valley Forge. Dr. Thomas received the Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce Hero Award in 1996 and served as a president of the Arlington Rotary Club in Riverside. He currently is board chairman of the Family Service Association of Riverside
Dr. Thomas has a PhD from Claremont Graduate of Management.
Andrew Baker-Miles Managing Director Novantus Europe.
Andrew specializes in e-business development. He has been directly involved at all levels of the Internet industry for many years and has in-depth applied knowledge from corporate size solutions to SME’s.
Andrew was formerly appointed as the consultant creative director for PC Interactive, one of the UK’s leading publications within its sector, and was commissioned to write regular tutorials on design and web development aimed toward fellow professionals. He has developed and implemented a variety of e-commerce and content management systems, all of which are in commercial use today.
Andrew has worked with clients such as Saatchi & Saatchi, Toyota, Scott Stern Associates, The Malaysian Government (involved in the implementation of a multimillion dollar tourism portal) and the Societee Generale, building a world-corporate-wide intranet. Andrew developed the user interfaces for Novantus software.
He is currently based in Jersey Channel Islands, heading up a team that has been involved in building full online e-commerce-enabled systems including a dual-language (English/Japanese) business-to-customer / business-to-business tool for Japan’s leading photo agency, and a large online builders merchant. Andrew is pioneering the development of full digital movie production.
Senthil Krishnasamy Director, Asia-Pacific
Senthil Krishnasamy was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Logic Version Computer Corporation since its inception in 1989. He provided the company's strategic planning, management structure and technology development. Senthil's foresight and vision for quality of life and service was central to the growth of Logicversion. In 1997 he founded Logic Version Technologies , an associate of NeotechSystems Inc , USA which provided consulting and IT services to clients around the globe. He is an active member of the Information Technology Committee Constituted by the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Coimbatore ( ICCIC ) and is an Associate member of the Computer Society of India (CSI ). For two decades now, he has been contributing significantly towards the progress of evolving professionals, the software industry and its positive impact worldwide. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Bharathiyar University, India. Senthil is responsible for Novantus operations and its rapid expansion in India.
V.S. Gandhimathinathan Director Asia-Pacific
Gandhi attended Bharathidhasan University,Tamilnadu, India, where he earned a degree in Arts, a Masters degree in Computer Applications. He earned a Law Degree from Madras University. Born into a family that includes three generations of distinguished lawyers, he currently practices law and manages his own law firm in Tamil Nadu. Enrolled as an advocate in 1994, Gandhi practiced for a couple of years in Chennai High Court and later in Dindigul, a District head quarters in Tamil Nadu. He was Nominated as a Panel Lawyer in the District Legal Services Authority (unit of the Tamilnadu State Legal Services Authority in Chennai).
Gandhi has represented several institutions and banks such as IBP,a Petroleum Company, Syndicate Bank, ICICI Bank Ltd, Alagendra Finance (p) Ltd., a Major Steel Rolling Mill, and on behalf of communities i.e. {Naidu mahajana sangam, Nadar uravinmurai etc}. He has immense interests in Legal Aid services coupled with technology and software development. He has participated in several Conferences and Seminars related to Law, Justice and Technology. He has won several Prestigious Awards in Participating Conferences.
Gandhi was elected a Director for Novantus in February 2004.
